The project
Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO) operates and maintains a group of concession highways across western and central Mexico. They include the Guadalajara–Zapotlanejo highway, part of the network that connects Guadalajara with Maravatío, Lagos de Moreno, León and Aguascalientes.
Why it matters
Road gateways into a metropolitan area the size of Guadalajara carry heavy traffic, freight and communities along their route. Keeping them running requires constant coordination between the concession holder, local communities and every stakeholder around them.
In our experience
It is part of Salvador J. Vazquez Villa’s track record on high-impact highway projects, where negotiation with local stakeholders, timely risk management and follow-through on agreements are as decisive as the construction itself.
